As the client you have a right to have access to speak directly to your lawyer. Direct confidential communications with your attorney is one of the hallmarks of our justice system. Many attorneys outsource their client communications to a paralegal, secretary, spouse or assistant. This is fine for trivial administrative matters, but not for anything of any importance.
Our clients are always free to call or stop in to speak directly to Mr. O’Leary. If at any time any question or issue comes up, that is what we are here for. You have a right, as a client, to have your questions answered promptly and forthrightly. Some lawyers that handle personal injury cases run on a volume based system. Today, some clients prefer to text message or email back and forth directly. This is also fine with us and we encourage this because the client’s preferred method of communication is the method that we will use.
The legal process requires good communication between lawyer and client. When you retain us to be your personal injury law firm, we consider it a private and public trust. You will have ongoing access to your personal injury attorney throughout the legal process. We take 100% responsibility for your case. As President Truman loved to say: “The buck stops here.”
